    Production Description
    Basalt fiber chopped strands are usually coated with sizing to make them compatible with other materials and elements. It can greatly improve the high temperature stability, cracking resistance, moisture damage resistance and fatigue resistance of asphalt, also can prolong its service life. Basalt chopped strands are a perfect competitive substitute material to PP, PAN and wood fiber.
     
     
    Usage
    Basalt chopped strands can be applied to dense grading asphalt concrete AC, SMA, OGFC, fiber sealing road and other bitumen pavements. 
    Properties
    1.     Can raise the utilization rate of bitumen, can reduce the flushing.
    2.     Can improve the dynamic stability, enhance 30% resistance to rutting of a asphalt pavement under a high temperature.
    3.     Can reduce the thermal cracking and improve 40% resistance to the low-temperature cracking.
    4.     Can improve the water damage resistance.
    5.     Enhance the fatigue resistance by more than 20% and prolong the pavement service life.
